MY FAVORITE PICK UP LINES

“…The world is filled with colors galore,

Each day is a colorful festivity;

Every moment you amass more and more,

There is no end to beauty!”

THE REVIEW

Debasish Mishra is a wonderful poet, his words in the form of poem is actually a vividly visible visual before a reader’s eyes. In this poem, he simply writes about the colors that our eyes visualize everyday, albeit it’s a visual treat. One can actually find oneself amidst the described beauty of nature through this poem and a strange serenity shall follow. Indeed I found it !!

That last line, “There is no end to beauty!!” is so enchanting !!

SILENT OFFERING, BY PURBA CHAKRABORTY.

silent

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Purba Chakraborty is the author of “Walking in the streets of love and destiny” and “The Hidden Letters”. She is also a web content developer, a blogger and a singer in leisure. Many of her poetry’s, short stories and articles have been published in several anthologies and magazines such as Rhymes and Rhythm, Melange- a potpourri of thoughts etc.

Currently she is working on her next manuscript. All the very best 🙂 🙂

THE EXCERPT

“The suppressed dreams of Avantika finally spread its colorful wings, which were clipped because of being caged inside her mind. She felt like a bird: happy, independent and contented like never before”

THE REVIEW

Purba tries to tell us a story of a forgotten dancer and his path finder. Amidst this busy life and this materialistic world we all somewhere forget who we really are?  what our passion is? what our aim is? and sometimes we forget ,who we really were? when we were like the birds, free and indomitable. Sometimes we need fireflies to enlighten the rather benighted paths of our busy lives.

The plot of course has been written in the past and showcased in many movies, I searched for a twist but sadly there was none. The writing part I thought could have been better, the story was happening rather very quick.

4/5

RANGEELO, BY VIBHUTI BHANDARKAR.

rangeelo

A professionally qualified graphic designer and Eng. copy-writer, Vibhuti’s creative soul finds expression through writing/blogging on short stories, book reviews etc.  Vibhuti Bhandarkar turned a published author in her maiden collection of short stories,”Not totally unbelievable”. Presently is working on a hand-illustrated book of poems for little children.

THE EXCERPT

Creativity is all about making mistakes, and a true artist knows which blotches to keep and which ones to veil in layers of paint.”

THE REVIEW

Vibhuti Bhandarkar’s story is a story worth reading. She has written a masterpiece. She has described the very details so magnificently in her story that one can get a vivid visual of it. Her profile never says she is a painter, but she has done an immensely impressive work on describing the ambiance of a painter’s room. Undoubtedly she has either done a thorough research or have been a perfectionist to live a life of a painter for few days to write this beautiful piece of literature.

Kudos ! to her.

The story has humor, love, color and in the end it gives you some important lessons to be learned in life after all the “Magic” is within.

MY RATING

I rate this “masterpiece” a 5/5.

MY FAVORITE PICK UP LINES

…Droplets of the blood,

Paints the canvas of our lives,

A warrior is born…”

THE REVIEW

Being genuine, I am not technically strong in poetry and its types. The poet at the start of the poem gives you the style of this crafty poem. As a reader I loved the poem.

The poet have painted the unknown life in the canvas of “Shades of Life” giving it a “Picaso” touch.

MY RATING

5/5
